Pain Into Purpose

Counseling for adults and teens in Washington State

Feeling stuck?

You may be seeking counseling because you or your loved one are experiencing an overwhelming struggle, hurt or pain. Maybe you feel depressed, lost, worried or stuck. Whatever you're going through, you’re not alone.

Pain is a shared part of the human experience. It is also is an opportunity. When we are confronted with pain, we have a choice. We can choose to suppress it until it overwhelms us, or we can choose to acknowledge and make meaning out of it.

Healing happens when we find purpose in our pain. When we take the time to tell our stories and lean into our pain, we experience deep healing and lasting transformation. Counseling is a safe space to process your pain without judgment or shame. Through deep conversations and deep connection, you can find the joy, peace and freedom that you're looking for.

Life hurts, but counseling can transform your hurt into hope.

Asian American therapist in Seattle Bekah Louie

I am so glad you're here. I know your pain is heavy, but you don't have to carry it alone. No matter what you're going through, I am here to listen to your story, acknowledge your pain and support you through it.

My passion is helping hurting people find hope and healing.

I primarily work with adults and teens struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and other mental health issues. I also specialize in body image therapy and Christian counseling. I currently offer exclusively online therapy for individuals in WA state.

My approach is personal, collaborative and empowering
. I believe that you have a unique story that is beautifully complex and intricate. During hardship, pain often takes the pen of your story and tries to distort your reality. My role is to help you take back the pen and rewrite your story.

As an Asian-American female therapist, I believe in cultural sensitivity and unconditional inclusion. All ages, races, ethnicities, religions, genders, sexual orientations, levels of ability, body types and financial situations are WELCOME!

How Therapy works

Step one

Schedule a free, 15-minute phone consultation. This is a no-pressure opportunity for us to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit.

Step two

If we are a good fit, I will send you some intake paperwork and we will schedule a 50-minute initial session. During this first session, we will discuss your current situation, relevant history and goals in order to create a personalized treatment plan.

Step three

We will meet weekly or every other week depending on your specific needs until you have reached your goals for therapy.
